July of 2007 marked an occasion in the world of brutality that will long be remembered. A band that went under the moniker Blinded By Fury arose from the murky depths with the sole intent to destroy everything that the local scene thought they knew about hardcore music. But with the loss of key members, it looked as if all hope had vanished for the band that was quickly gaining notariety within its local boundaries. But with loss comes gain: November of the same year would not only bring a new lineup and freshly prepared songs, but an entirely darker sound. To this day, we know this only as the birth of Your Nightmare Awaits.

YNA took the local metal scene by a violent storm, bringing forth enough Death Metal to leave the most die hard church burners begging for mercy and more breakdowns and stomps than any one Hardcore kid can handle. Their hectic show schedule and their die hard DIY ethic brought about another lineup change in the spring of 2008. But the very same time of year, they saw themselves releasing their first EP entitled "JUGGERNAUT", which was recorded at York's own 19 Star Studios by Steve Perko and Andy Zeller. The band embarked on a series of self-funded tours, envoking their popularity to spread like wildfire. But with the addition of Mark Campbell (Living For Today) and Brent Eckert (Murder In Greenwich) on 2nd and 3rd guitar, YNA would inevitably become the beast that was revered by many as "the most crushing band in the local scene"

Jan of 2009 saw YNA in the studio with Producer/Engineer Grant McFarland (Century/This Or The Appocalypse), recording their Broken Hope Productions debut EP "NHILISTIC DISFIGUREMENT", which was unleashed to the masses on Valentines Day (2/14/09). YNA is stronger than ever. All the proof needed to back that is in its growing fan base, increasing album sales, live performances unlike anything seen before, and a raw sound that leaves you wanting nothing more then to destroy. After all of YNA's triumphs over every single hardship that's been thrown its way, there is no way of predicting what the future wil hold for these bringers of doom and death.
